The Haynes Tune-Up and routine maintenance guide was designed to help the home mechanic maintain his or her vehicle with increased performance, economy, safety, reliability and vehicle life in mind. Includes is a maintenance schedule, procedures grouped according to time/mileage intervals and step-by-step instructions which deal specifically with each item on the schedule. The procedures range from visual checks and adjustments to item replacements. The term "tune-up" is loosely used to describe a series of procedures that are actually part of the routine maintenance schedule.
